got standard queen room with an authentic touch when arrived, liked that. the lighting was very bright.

The stay here was really great, appreciated the hotel, it was fairly clean with great and perfect location close to a lovely garden on a warm summers night, the separate restaurant and the atmosphere, and Norwich and the Norfolk Broads.

The portions were generous and satisfying. My room was clean and well-presented. Easy parking made my arrival seamless. It felt cute and friendly throughout my visit 😊

Large portion sizes that nearly qualify as a buffet in the Standard Double Room, with hearty meals served hot and fresh. Nicely located for a quick escape from activities, the outdoor garden, even though needing care, offers a decent spot for dining without being indoors.

Traffic noise can be a nuisance, especially if your room's facing the busy main road. Expect it to disrupt your sleep during the dawn and dusk hours. Lighting in the corridors feels delayed, which can lead to unexpected stumbles on shallow steps. There's also a serious lack of parking for overnight guests as staff parking seems prioritized, and fire safety protocols seem mildly ignored with fire doors left wedged open. Security could use improvement too, since the guest door doesn't lock. Fortunately, I only experienced one false alarm. It was rather unsettling when no staff were around to assist amid the chaos.

I've stayed in norwich before, but this time was special. The food was not only huge but delicious, seriously impressed me. Staff were super attentive.

Spacious room, beautiful food, with really good breakfast options. The free wi-fi in the room was a pleasant bonus, and the convenient location just 7 km from the nearest airport allowed us easy access to explore the area.

Just a smart choice for a brief stop-in in Norwich with good value considering price it charged. I loved the violet gin they suggested, it was amazing. If you enjoy gin, definitely try the unique options available.

The standard double room was cozy, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was lovely too. I found the staff to be superb throughout, from check-in to the bar and restaurant. Breakfast was a real highlight with quality ingredients and great coffee.

Dinner was epic, hand-made pasta that danced on the palate. Breakfast? A solid spread, with quality ingredients like poached haddock and a hearty full English. The service was great the whole time.

Oh, but the traffic noise was a bit of a bother, especially with my room facing the road. Those corridor lights? They could do with coming on a tad sooner to avoid tripping over in the dark!
